Who is Chaja Properties?

The company was founded by Jackson Mosley in March of 2018. He has an extensive background in real estate dating as far back as 1992. He purchased his first property when he was 23 years old. He later went on to purchase all kinds of real estate assets through different types of acquisitions (fix and flip, wholesaling, and buy and hold).
Our main objective now is to focus on the acquisition of income producing assets within our target markets. Our business approach is founded on building lasting relationships based upon our faith, commitment, and trust. Our business motto is to “owe no man anything, but to love one another, for he that loves another has fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8

Jackson Mosley


Jackson Mosley is about hard work, integrity, energy, and creative service in every detail of a real estate transaction. He has worked every aspect of the industry representing as an agent, investor, and now mortgage banker. Jackson is the consummate salesman. In fact, he’s been selling most of his life. Jackson is a family man with a devotion to God, his beautiful wife of 19 years, and two beautiful children. He has been living in the Woodland Hills/West Hills area for the past 10+ years. He grew up in the city of Carson and is one of a few California natives. Jackson is an enthusiastic member of the community and enjoys cooking, golf, watching sports, and spending time with his lovely wife and kids.

Most frequent questions and answers

As with all investments, there is some inherent risk.  Just as with investing in the stock market, there are no guarantees.  the major risk elements are vacancy, maintenance expenses and trying to sell in a down real estate market.  In general, real estate has less volatility than the stock market.

It all depends on your investment objectives.  Fix n flips are great for growing capital and income property is good for residual income.  We like the residual income more than the ability to grow capital because residual income is consistent.  When you have properties that are cash flowing that is consistent.  Fix and flipping property is great, but it’s not consistent.  It’s cyclical.

We suggest that you go through a rigorous due diligence process before deciding on an investment property.  Analyze an investment location-such as crime, schools, employers, median income, rent to price ratio; availability of local resources for management and more.  Furthermore, find the “local talent” with multiple years within your particular location to make sure the properties are sound and remain that way through the lifetime of your investment.  There is no guarantee that any investment will reach any barometer of performance.
